How should I prepare for a Garage Organization Estimate?

After you’ve scheduled your free garage estimate, there are a handful of things you can do to make the process easier for both you and the company you’re working with.

Where to Start

Take a mental inventory of what’s in your garage.  What do you plan to keep? What do you need easy access to and what can be stored away for infrequent use? Are there any obstructions in the garage that we need to work around? Common obstructions are plumbing, electric panels, water heaters, etc.

What is involved in the Free Estimate?  Am I obligated to do business with you?

A free estimate never obligates you to do business with us.  Our hope is that by meeting with one of our garage experts, you’ll have all of your questions answered and feel 100% confident about hiring us to install your garage project.  During your appointment, you’ll have a chance to look at floor and cabinet samples to choose what colors you love.  The estimator will measure your space and answer any questions you have about the product or the process.  Depending on the complexity of the project, you may get your quote right away and we always do our very best to get the estimate to you the same day.

Do Your Homework

Who are you bringing into your home?  Learn about the company that you have invited into your home.  Are they licensed, insured? Do they have a good online reputation?  Check their various social profiles for testimonials, reviews and job photos.  Look into online consumer resources like Angie’s List, Home Advisor, Porch, Houzz, etc.  Our website has links to Carolina Custom Garages social profiles for prospective customers to check out.
